  Andre Sequerah, founder and Managing Director of Aexio


Andre Sequerah is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Aexio. In his role, Andre leads the overall business management direction of Aexio and heads the overall strategic development of the company.

Under his leadership, Aexio has secured sales for its flagship RF engineering products, Xeda and Xeus, in several countries around the globe.

Prior to co-founding Aexio, Andre was the Services Account Manager at Ericsson (M) Sdn Bhd, where he oversaw the development and sales of Global Professional Services and the Services Business Plan for various accounts, including TM Bhd, Celcom (M) Bhd and TIME dotCom Bhd.

In his capacity as the Services Account Manager, he accounted for the operation of service sales including account history, services budgets, business and service growth and tactical market plan, and prepared negation tenders and service contracts.

Before being promoted as Services Account Manager, Andre was the Senior Network Design Consultant with Ericsson where he consulted on several high-profile radio network projects in Singapore, Australia, Japan and United Kingdom.

Andre started out his career with one of Malaysia’s leading cellular operators, Maxis Communications Bhd and spent three years there designing the then nascent GSM network for metropolitan areas in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Andre graduated from the famed Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, UK having read a BEng (Hons), Information Systems Engineering.

   
  Kean Chan, Co-founder and Technology Director, Aexio


Kean Chan is the Co-founder and Technology Director, Aexio, and the principal architect and chief designer of Aexio’s flagship products, Xeda and Xeus, a product that is now used by customers spanning African to South Asian countries.

In his role, he oversees the entire company’s technology vision and execution, as well as supervises the company’s software architecture solutions and development.

Kean has a keen eye for software design as attested by his creation of highly specialized tools for Ericsson TEMS U.S., one of the biggest radio planning tool companies in the world. He started his career at Ericsson (M) Sdn Bhd as an RF engineer where he dabbled in software coding as a means to enhance his job as an RF engineer. While at Ericsson, he developed MCOM, a Mapinfo-based analysis tool that was so advanced that it became a de facto software tool used by the Ericsson community worldwide.

Riding on the success of MCOM, Kean turned his attention to developing other RF software tools. In 2004, while working for Ericsson TEMS, he designed and created the company’s WCDMA Radio Tuning automated reporting and analysis tool for TEMS Deskcat, and the new TEMS Visualization.

He quickly became Ericsson’s resident subject matter expert and for all his efforts, he received the TEMS Special Recognition Award in 2004 for his excellent contribution to the company.

Kean graduated from the University Of Malaya with a First-Class honours degree in Electrical Engineering.

   
  Affandy Johan, Services Director, Aexio


Affandy Johan is the Service Director of Aexio. In his position, Affandy is in charge of the services and development management aspects of Aexio, and is responsible for the set up and delivery of Aexio’s projects. He also looks into all delivery requirements and setting of KPI targets, as well as customer needs and requests.

As Services Director in Aexio, Affandy has intimately participated in several high profile optimization and network roll-out projects, including working with various vendors and operators in Indonesia and Malaysia. Through these projects, Affandy applied his expertise as a consultant in areas such as bidding management, network roll-out, and radio network tuning and optimization.

Prior to his time at Aexio, Affandy was a Radio Network Consultant with Ericsson Expertise Center where he provided technical service delivery (consulting) support for GSM Radio Network design and optimization for Ericsson mobile network customers/operators within the Asia Pacific Region.

His regional work took him to Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal, as well as a short stint in China, where he was attached to the Ericsson China Central Region supporting the WCDMA mobile network trial with China Mobile.

Affandy kicked off his career in one of Malaysia’s leading mobile operators Celcom (M) Bhd, where he was the project engineer in charge of the design and implementation of Celcom’s in-building coverage sites and special projects for the whole of metropolitan Kuala Lumpur.

Affandy holds a BEng (Hons) Electronic (Communications) Engineering, University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

   
  Loh Fook Chong, Business Development Director, Aexio


Loh Fook Chong is the Business Development Director at Aexio. In his role, Fook Chong is responsible for the overall account management and business development of the company.

Prior to his time at Aexio, Fook Chong was Senior Radio Network Manager/ Consultant in Radio Network and Performance Improvement in Ericsson Malaysia where his responsibilities included resource management, competence development for 15 consultants, and technical management.

Fook Chong has extensive experience and has traveled to no fewer than 10 countries in the Asia Pacific region whilst wearing three different hats – a consultant, project manager, and training instructor. His projects included WCDMA in-building design in Singapore, 3G tuning and capacity investigations in Japan, project manager for a 3G rollout in Malaysia, and training instructor in Vietnam.

Through his wide exposure, Fook Chong has honed not only his technical skills but has also developed keen business acumen and negotiation skills which complement his role as Aexio’s Business Development Director.

Fook Choong read his BEng (Hons) at Loughborough University, UK and a Diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
